CODE OF CONDUCT

The committee and the members of the Blyth/Snowtown Football Club have agreed to a code of conduct for BSFC members and supporters. Although not enshired into the constitution, these are the standards of behaviour with which we agree to abide by at our games.

1.

CODE OF CONDUCT:- UMPIRES

Any language or actions directed at umpires within the area of the bar, clubrooms and canteen that is deemed to be vindictive or vulgar, may be dealt with be any 2 BSFC committee members and a member of the BSFC executive, who will approach the offending member/supporter and request that person to refrain from his/her actions.

A consequence of continued actions will be a request to vacate an area of 100m from the coach’s box and to be invited to appear before the next BSFC committee meeting to explain his/her actions.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT:- PLAYERS

Any language or actions directed at opposing players within the area of the bar, clubrooms and canteen that is deemed to be vindictive or vulgar, may be dealt with by any 2 BSFC committee members and a member of BSFC executive, who will approach the offending member/supporter and request that person to refrain from his/her actions.

A consequence of continued actions will be a request to vacate an area of 100m from the coach’s box and to be invited to appear before the next BSFC committee meeting to explain his/her actions.

3. CODE OF CONDUCTS:- RACIAL VILIFICATION

Any language or actions directed at any umpires or players that is deemed to be vilifying a person based on race or religious beliefs, may be dealt with by any 2 BSFC committee members plus a member of BSFC executive, who approach the offending member/supporter and request that person to refrain from his/her actions.

A consequence of this action will be a request to vacate the oval and its surrounds and to be asked to appear before the next BSFC committee meeting
